Leader of the Nine Realms, Asgard sustains a slave society with the Sovereign controlling trade. The citizens maintain a natural order of male dominance, with their rulers setting examples. However, behind the walls of the grand golden palace, schemes are at play within the royal family. While cards are being shuffled, Loki is enticing Thor in the most miraculous ways. Given to The Crown as a child, Valkyrie has devoted her life to protecting the Sovereign. However, Loki’s lustful demands have been weighing on her for over five hundred years. No matter how many times she dismisses him, he finds her slights thrilling and seductive. The prince’s forceful persistence has her questioning her position as protector of the throne as he damn near loses his mind with obsession. Harpa and the annual Lupine Run are nearing, and Valkyrie hopes that trapping slave flesh will grant her some reprieve from the slithering snake.

When he’s not taunting Valkyrie, Loki is slithering between slave thighs. As Loki and Thor go about their lives rolling around with slaves, deadly attacks are directed at both. From what direction are they coming? Who is on whose side? A stealthy trip into the night sheds light on the younger prince, and he can’t believe what he sees.
